Ventilation and air treatment for industrial buildings

An air handling unit (AHU) is an assembly of housings comprising one or more fans and one or more filtration stages, depending on the size and type of industrial building (and hence pollutants). It can blow air into premises at constant or variable flow rates, from 1,000 m ³ /h to 100,000 m ³ /h. Distribution is via ducts, supply outlets, plenums, ceiling lights or textile ducts.

Depending on the model chosen, the AHU can heat and/or cool supply air (hot coil, cold coil), recover heat from extracted air, and provide humidification or dehumidification.
