ERP fire safety – General (provisions applicable to establishments in the first four categories)

Any construction or work modifying a 1 ^er group establishment must be monitored and checked by qualified technicians. All these checks are recorded in a safety register, permanently available in the establishment and under the responsibility of the head of the establishment. It is produced when inspections are carried out by the Commission consultative départementale de sécurité incendie et d'accessibilité.

These checks and inspections are necessary because an establishment is likely to undergo changes in the use of its premises, which will have an impact on the safety file. Depending on the nature of the modifications, the premises or establishment may change category.
