Fire safety in high-rise buildings (IGH) - General measures

Implemented in the wake of the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center, these regulations cover fire safety, accessibility and evacuation in high-rise buildings (IGH) and very-high-rise buildings (ITGH), based on fire safety regulations for public buildings (ERP).

The order is divided into several titles and sections. This article presents the provisions of articles GH1 to GH5, covering :

• administration ;

• technical terms and definitions ;

• the various regulatory checks and their periodicities applicable to high-rise buildings.
