Following on from the general provisions of article

, the legislator has established special provisions for the construction of IGH (Immeubles de Grande Hauteur), taking the same themes as for ERP (Établissements Recevant du Public). In fact, some of the chapters take up elements of the fire safety regulations for ERP, or even refer to them.
Compared with the fire regulations for public buildings, the fire regulations for high-rise buildings include aggravations or modifications depending on the situation.
