5. Conclusion
Acceptance is a legal act laid down in Article 1792-6 of the French Civil Code (and subsequent case law), by which the client takes delivery of the work and acknowledges that it has been carried out correctly, as stipulated in the contract. This is a crucial point for the client, who is often legally inexperienced in construction matters. He therefore needs to be informed or assisted.
