Sizing low-traffic pavements
Dimensioning of road pavements

The design manual for new low-traffic pavements published in 1981 by SETRA and LCPC is no longer in force. It has been replaced by a new guide, drawn up under the aegis of IDRRIM and published in 2019 by CEREMA and IDRRIM.

This guide, entitled "Manual de dimensionnement des chaussées neuves à faible trafic" is aimed at all those involved in the construction of new pavements for low-traffic roads (traffic ≤ 150 heavy goods vehicles per day).
