To complete a concrete pouring operation, form stripping must be properly controlled to ensure the required aesthetic and structural qualities. The various existing contractual texts (DTU 21, fascicule 65 and FD P 18-503) provide acceptance criteria. These are based on flatness P, texture E and shade T. Depending on the increasingly stringent requirements, the execution specifications will include the choice of a robust concrete formula, a homogeneous forming skin, a sufficiently surface-active release agent, and a concreting plan that may include special provisions for vibration.

Of course, the completion of a test element remains the "justice of the peace" for taking into consideration the conditions under which the work was carried out, and the quality of the facings obtained.
