Domestic hot water

The quality requirements to be met by all hot water distribution systems, whether individual or collective, can be broken down as follows:

• Temperature setting must be possible, precise and accurate;

• the temperature, once set, must be stable;

• the waiting time for the flow of cooled water before the arrival of hot water should be as short as possible (a few seconds);

• the hot water supply must be continuous, i.e. reliable, unless the cold water supply to the cylinder is accidentally interrupted or consumption is excessive.
