The Energy Transition Bill includes a Title IV (Articles 19 to 22) devoted entirely to the circular economy and waste, entitled "Combating waste and promoting the circular economy: from product design to recycling". Green growth thus also includes, among other aspects, a transition to the circular economy. When the law is passed, this notion should be defined and enshrined, for the first time, in the Environmental Code. The construction and public works sector, which uses a lot of non-renewable natural resources and has the possibility of reusing and recycling materials at the end of their useful life, is particularly concerned. It must seek to make the transition from a linear to a circular economy.
