4. Regulatory texts
There are virtually no regulations governing building security against burglary and vandalism, except in very specific cases not covered here. At most, we can mention articles 132-73, 311-5, 322-1, 322-3 of the French Penal Code:
"Breaking and entering consists in forcing, damaging or destroying any locking device or any type of fence. The use of false keys, improperly obtained keys or any instrument that can be fraudulently used to operate a locking device without forcing or damaging it is considered breaking and entering."
There are, however, fire safety regulations covering the risks of fire and panic:
