2. Provisions of article 1792-6
Acceptance of work is an essential stage in the construction process. It is a legal act by which the client takes delivery of the work and confirms that it has been properly executed in accordance with the contract. Its pronouncement has both financial and legal consequences, not only for the client, but also for builders and insurers.
Acceptance of the work is a one-off event, and is pronounced by the project owner at the same time, unless acceptance is pronounced by a court of law.
However, the contract may contain a clause allowing acceptance by building or by section when the work corresponding to this building or section constitutes a work in itself.
