Specialized modules or containers
ERP fire safety – Installation of cooking appliances for catering purposes

Specialized modules or containers may be temporarily installed in premises that may or may not be accessible to the public, or less than 8 m from a building, subject to the approval of the relevant safety commission.

They must be fitted out in accordance with the conditions set out below:

• only combustible gas and electrical energy are authorized to power cooking and reheating appliances. These appliances must be CE-marked in accordance with European directives;

• each module or specialized container must have a single emergency stop device for each energy source. This device must lock automatically in the closed position, be correctly identified and be easily accessible from outside the module or container;
