7. Conclusion

The future of the CAN bus is closely linked to its application in vehicles, since this is the sector which largely ensures its technological credibility and a large-scale, low-cost market. However, the coming years will see the development of solutions enabling vehicles to become increasingly autonomous. Autonomous driving requires :

  • numerous sensors and actuators, fast, reliable and secure communication tools to manage the vehicle itself;
