6. Method applications

6.1 System construction

The system is a dryer consisting of a fan and a heating resistor placed in a heat-insulated enclosure as shown in figure 31 . The power dissipated by the heating resistor is controlled via a dimmer switch and also the motor, so that the speed of the heated air is easily variable. The air temperature is measured using a thermocouple.
