INTRODUCTION
This article presents the fundamentals of sliding control. The main strengths of this technique are its robustness and the wide variety of problems it can address. We'll also look at its main weakness, which is the phenomenon of reluctance, particularly in the case of variable systems, and at ways of overcoming it.
