. It has an output current filter. The following analysis remains valid for all other converters, which require an output current filter. By adapting our reasoning below, it is even possible to extend the results to a current input filter (step-up chopper). Throughout this section, we will neglect the influence of the input filter. This is equivalent to considering that it supplies a true voltage source to the chopper.
In our calculations, we will use the superposition theorem, which allows us to separate the study of quantities into those of their continuous components and those of their alternating components....
