6.1 Design choices

The CAD design chain for hybrid circuits started out as a drawing aid. Today, it covers the design chain from printed circuit boards to monolithic integrated circuits. The basic links in the chain are shown in figure 11.

6.1.1 Input data

The first phase of design begins with a list of equipotentials (NETLIST). This data can be generated by the designer or extracted from a supplier database. Examples are shown in figure
