3. RAM memory

Memories can appear as individual components (packages) used to make up computer memories, or as part of other components. For example, the register banks of processors and the L1 and L2 caches of [H 1 002] microprocessors are memories integrated into the processor chip. The memory method will distinguish between the different types of memory, whether they constitute their own component or are integrated into other components.
