5. Conclusion

The design of microwave circuits still represents a significant challenge for engineers today. In this context, the use of high-performance simulation tools represents a significant advantage in terms of competitiveness, since it reduces development time and therefore costs. Advanced simulation algorithms and the evolution of software interfaces have contributed to improving the methodologies used for circuit design. However, the libraries used by these software packages can often be improved, particularly for power circuit design where complex phenomena need to be taken into account. Engineers must therefore pay particular attention to the validity and accuracy of the models they use, depending on the type of circuit they wish to develop.
