1. Context
As already specified in the
, there is currently no French term established by usage to designate the elementary antenna, whose English name is "patch". The term "printed antenna" or "microstrip antenna" is more commonly used, as the first rectangular printed antennas were made up of a section of radiating microstrip line. We use these terms alternately here.
