2. How to carry out system qualification tests
For any system, whether simple or complex, the ideal is to be able to carry out EMC qualification tests on the complete system in its real environment, which is not feasible most of the time. Limitations may include size, non-reproducibility of the electromagnetic environment, system complexity or cost.
To overcome these limitations, there are several possible solutions:
