3. Qualification procedure
When an EMC qualification is carried out on a complete system or platform, the aim is to verify the absence of susceptibility of the electrical chains (self-compatibility), but also to demonstrate the margins of correct operation.
In principle, EMC tests are carried out after functional tuning tests have been completed, but this is not necessarily the case when susceptibilities are identified during this phase, and EMC investigations are carried out to identify and correct any problems.
Through system EMC testing, we aim to characterize conducted/split emission levels, in order to compare them with the susceptibility levels of the various equipment/products demonstrated during their qualification.
