8. Concepts of uncertainty in the context of an EMC test
There are many uncertainties in EMC. Like any science that deals with systemic aspects, there are many parameters involved in a measurement, and calculating uncertainties quickly becomes difficult. Calculations that only address uncertainties in the measurement chain provide only a very limited and not the most influential part of the uncertainties in an EMC test. We will verify this in the case of the conducted emissions test discussed earlier.
