2. Alloys

Table 1 lists the properties of austenitic nickel-based and ferritic metal alloys used as electrical resistors. Mechanical properties are given in the annealed condition. Where temperature is not specified, ambient conditions (20°C) are used. For further information, please refer to the articles on Refractory steels and alloys in the treatise Metallic Materials [10] .
