Low-voltage busbars

Connections can be divided into two groups:

• connections between bars, either between longitudinal elements (junctions) or between these and the switchgear or a sub-assembly (branches);

• connections to the equipment.

In the first case, there is a certain amount of design latitude, while in the second, the layout of the connection pads, their dimensions and the number of holes are all constraints that must be respected.

The actual production process can involve a variety of assembly methods:

• direct bolting ;

• clamping under counter-plates (variant of the previous one, avoiding drilling in flat bars, in exchange for an increase in space requirements due to overhang on each...
