5. Connections
Connections can be divided into two groups:
connections between bars, either between longitudinal elements (junctions) or between these and the switchgear or a sub-assembly (branches);
connections to the equipment.
In the first case, there is a certain amount of design latitude, while in the second, the layout of the connection pads, their dimensions and the number of holes are all constraints that must be respected.
