We saw in the introduction that the physical phenomena that can occur in a network are numerous and characterized by highly variable frequencies or time constants. It has been shown that accurate simulations of all phenomena are necessary. Whether the simulator used is analog or digital, the first step in developing a simulation is to establish the mathematical model of the system.
