1. What are the current regulations?
To reduce the carbon footprint of company vehicles on the planet, increasingly restrictive regulatory requirements have been adopted at the national and international levels. Here is a list of the laws and standards in force in France at the time this fact sheet was developed.
1.1 Decree No. 2021-977
The 2022 Vehicle Fleet Renewal Law ( décret n° 2021-977 ), which came into force on January 1, 2022 ( ), requires all targeted companies to renew part of their fleet with low-emission vehicles (VFE). The percentages to be met increase each year.
