Biocidal products: regulatory obligations

This is the list of biocides banned from the market. It is therefore important to ensure that the biocides you use are not on this list.

In addition, a search of the ECHA database shows you the phase of evaluation of your active substance:

• under evaluation by a member state ;

• under evaluation by the BPC (Biocidal Products Committee) this phase takes place after the Member State has sent its evaluation;

• and the commission's decision based on the BPC's opinion.

So you can see if the approval date for your substance is approaching.

Don't forget to check whether your supplier is on the list of approved suppliers by active substance.
