Changes to the nomenclature can lead to the removal of a heading from the nomenclature, as the activities concerned no longer need to be covered by legislation on classified installations in view of the risks they present. This is known as downgrading.
What happens when a nomenclature item is deleted?
When a heading is removed from the nomenclature of classified facilities, it ceases to have any effect on facilities previously covered by it.
