CODERST: operation and role

Regulations require that the prefect provide council members with the documents necessary to review your case (for example, the ICPE inspector’s report, the draft order) at least five days before the CODERST meeting. This is a short timeframe given the number of cases reviewed during a single session.

To secure support within the CODERST, we recommend that you prepare for the meeting in advance by contacting:

• the mayor of your municipality, to present your facility or proposed facility, particularly its economic and environmental aspects;

• the representative of your industry (manufacturing, agriculture, construction, or other),...
