Conducting an authorization procedure

First of all, check whether or not your project falls within the scope of the ICPE.

Given the complexity of the DAE file to be drawn up, and the length of time it will take to complete, it is essential to :

• not to embark on the creation of such a file if the planned activities (or their operating conditions) are not listed in the ICPE nomenclature, or if they only meet the declaration or registration thresholds;

• start preparing the DAE file as soon as the project review has shown that at least one of the proposed activities is subject to authorization ( A ).
