Is a compliance audit a regulatory requirement?

No regulatory text explicitly states that a compliance audit is mandatory. However, it is a tool that can be used to meet regulatory obligations, such as the obligation to comply with regulatory prescriptions defined in general prescriptions decrees, registration decrees, prefectoral decrees, etc.

The purpose of a compliance audit is to verify that your site complies with the requirements applicable to it. It is therefore first and foremost a tool for assessing your level of compliance, anticipating changes, evaluating measures and systems you may have put in place, detecting gaps or strengths, and proposing corrective solutions or avenues for improvement.
