3. Knowing the resources available to associations
In general, associations use a variety of methods: information, training, awareness-raising, practical clean-up activities (e.g., waste removal), etc.
In the field of ICPEs, their involvement may also take the form of more specific actions at different stages in the life of your facility.
During the procedure for opening an ICPE subject to registration or authorization, one or more associations may intervene at the public inquiry stage. They are thus required to submit their comments on the project to the investigating commissioner (see Investigating commissioner: their role in the public inquiry and the examination of the ICPE file)
