6. Conclusion
The provisions applicable to facilities subject to authorization are governed mainly by the French Environment Code, and more specifically by articles 2 to 24 of Title I of the decree of September 21, 1977 issued for the application of the law of July 19, 1976 (codified).
However, all the texts in force, whether the Environment Code or the nomenclature, are regularly amended and updated in line with changes in European regulations, new knowledge and current events.
Whatever the future developments, the main objective of the file to be supplied by the applicant to the authorities will remain to be a tool for :
