Inert and non-hazardous waste is mineral waste that has not undergone any changes. This waste does not decompose, burn, or produce any physical, chemical, or biological reactions that could harm the environment or human health.

Inert waste includes:

• concrete mixes, bricks, tiles, ceramics, rubble, sand, cement, mortar, cinder blocks;

• glass (glazing only), such as white glass, laminated glass, tinted glass, mirrors;

• tar-free bituminous materials (tar-free road surfaces);

• soil and stones (including excavated material, but excluding topsoil and peat).
