1. ISO 14001 management standard requirements
Based on the concept of continuous improvement (PDCA), the management standard
ISO 14001
(Environmental management systems – Requirements and guidelines for its use) was modified in 2015 to integrate, in particular:
the common structure of management system standards (HLS, High Level Structure). This common structure not only makes standards development more efficient, but also enhances the alignment and compatibility of standards for organizations wishing to implement integrated management systems;
the risks and opportunities approach.
