1. System analysis
The aim of system analysis is to maintain system performance over time, under design conditions and at the lowest possible cost. To achieve this, as with any SoTL study, the system's functional and dysfunctional behavior must be modeled, and its performance assessed.
Industrial process safety depends on the interaction, control and ongoing management of three essential variables: the product, the process and the human factor.
