Article

An object that, during the manufacturing process, is given a specific shape, surface, or design that is more critical to its function than its chemical composition.

Supplier of an article

Any producer or importer of an article, any distributor, or any other actor in the supply chain who places an article on the market.

Supplier of a substance or mixture

A downstream user or distributor to whom a substance or mixture is supplied.

Mixture

A mixture is a solution composed of two or more substances.

Placing on the market

The act of supplying a product or making it available to a third party, whether for a fee or free of charge. Any importation is considered equivalent to placing a product on the market.
