3. Examples of use
Virtually all industries use evaporators to treat their effluents. Evaporator capacities range from a few dozen kg/h to over 1,500 t/h per line. These units are very often combined with other concentration units, in particular membrane technology.
The examples given below, which describe existing installations, are not exhaustive, due to the diversity of effluents to be treated. Indeed, capacities can vary widely from one industrial site to another, as can energy costs and local regulations.
