ICPEs are classified in a nomenclature (Tool: 1 ). Consulting this text allows you to determine whether a facility, activity, structure, or construction project is subject to these regulations, and if so, under which regime. Three categories are distinguished based on the severity of the hazards or nuisances associated with the facility, ranging from the least restrictive to the most restrictive: declaration, registration, and environmental authorization.
