ABSTRACT
In its fight against bioterrorism, the LERI (Fostering research and innovation) has decided to develop new assay formats applied to the agents of the biological threat, and notably an immunochromatographic test (ICT) also called "test strip assay". This format uses tracers (antibodies conjugated to molecules allow for the production of a signal) in order to detect the presence of the molecule of interest. The aim of our work was to develop original tracers, with high specific activity, which could be used for this test. Firstly, the selection of the immunoliposomes as fluorescent tracers for ICTs is carried out using the detection of Staphylococcus Aureus enterotoxin B as a model. The application of this marker to ICTs detecting small molecules is then applied to the microcystines, which are toxins produced by the cyanobacteria. By means of a portable, easy to use fluorometer, our test can be used by non-specialists ?on the field?. The application of these markers in Western blot has shown the possibility to obtain a rapid and simple multiplex detection on the same blot.
