Graphene

Allotropic form of carbon composed of sp ² -hybridized atoms arranged in hexagonal meshes. Graphene is a 2D material: just a few nanometers thick (3 nm max, i.e. 10 atomic layers), it can have a lateral size of several millimeters. The name "graphene" is often given to a wide family of materials that don't always fit the original definition.

Oxidized (reduced) graphene oxide

A form of graphene in the broad sense of the term, derived from the "oxidative exfoliation" production process, containing numerous surface functionalizations which can be largely reduced in a subsequent process step.

Graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs)
