How do you pass on the experience and knowledge you've acquired?

Experience and knowledge are not necessarily passed on at the end of a project. For example, you may have to manage the arrival or departure of project members. In this case, to ensure that your project team can operate as efficiently as possible following this reassignment, you, as project manager, make sure that :

• the people assigned to your project can carry the skills of the people leaving;

• people new to your project can be up and running as quickly as possible.

In both cases, it's important to be able to anticipate the need to pass on knowledge, so as to take advantage, ideally, of a transitional period when the person joining (or leaving) your project can receive (or pass on) the skills required for the position.
