A new niche is emerging: the repair of broken, cracked and other plastic parts.

What's more, if you have non-compliant plastic parts, how can you take them back and make them compliant?

The greatest difficulty is to identify the materials, especially if they come from old parts.

Another major disadvantage when parts have been in contact with chemicals is that they are often contaminated, and the thermoplastic no longer has its original characteristics (even at the core). This can lead to major problems when it comes to making successful welds. In such cases, be sure to tell your customer that the part cannot be repaired.
