Why choose linear friction welding?
Linear friction or vibration welding

Vibration or linear friction welding is particularly suitable when :

• you have an assembly of one or more parts;

• the weld is rather long and along the length of the part;

• one of the dimensions of your parts can be up to a metre;

• the geometry of the parting line is complex;

• you are looking for important welding outfits ;

• you want your parts to be watertight;

• you have dissimilar (but compatible) materials;

• your materials are semi-crystalline (PA, PP, TPO...);

• you don't want to use any consumables;

• you don't want smoke emissions.
