Analytical estimating method for determining project task costs

As a first step, the project manager must ensure that :

• the task flowchart is complete, otherwise the estimate will be incomplete;

• For each task, there is a completed task sheet, which contains key information such as effort, duration, detailed activities and limits;

• each task has an assigned manager, as the task manager is in the best position to define the necessary breakdown of activities and make valid estimates.
