To "stack the odds in your favor", it's essential to address the question of skills as early as possible in the project.

The first phase consists of identifying the individual skills needed to realize the project. At this stage, the aim is to define an "ideal" target, in the knowledge that, in all likelihood, it will not be fully attainable.

To do this, we need to go back to the fundamentals of the project (stakes, objectives, constraints, foreseeable levels of innovation and change, both technical and organizational, etc.) and systematically analyze :

• the skills to be mobilized, distinguishing between technical skills linked to the project's purpose and those linked to its management (project leadership and management);
