3. How do you create a synthesis?
A company's primary aim is to produce value at the lowest possible cost, in order to generate maximum profits which can then be reinvested. To achieve this, it tries to automate and standardize its processes as much as possible. This generic remark is valid for risk analysis, but it often leads to poor quality results.
The concatenation of project risks into a single program, transposing them onto a single scale and putting them through a mill of some kind, has the effect of crushing some of the information, particularly contextual information that doesn't always fit into the pre-formatted "boxes" used in the qualitative analysis process.
