5. What new regulatory constraints need to be taken into account?
You can't develop an innovation without taking regulatory constraints into account; in extreme cases, these constraints can even generate innovation.
There are countless standards and regulations, but they can be classified as follows:
safety standards (electrical, fire, etc.) ;
sanitary standards (prohibited materials such as heavy metals and polyurethanes);
environmental standards (recyclable materials, "green" materials, use of recycled materials).
European standards and regulations are available on the
Commission européenne
website.
