The use of enterprise Web 2.0 tools is above all a cultural change. To be effective, project management must take this dimension into account. The project can be divided into three phases: assessment, experimentation (six months), deployment. The deployment phase is long, lasting from 2 to 3 years, to ensure the long-term adoption of the new technologies.
You will need :
observe and talk to future users about their working methods;
collect use cases and unresolved issues;
deduce long-term objectives, without neglecting the short term (some objectives will only be achievable with a sufficient number of participants).
